Greek-Style Turkey Burgers with Yogurt Sauce : Date Added: 27 May 2016

Ingredients

These lean and flavorful turkey burgers feature fresh herbs like parsley and mint along with lemon, garlic and a tangy Greek yogurt dipping sauce to satisfy any and all burger cravings you may have. Serve atop a bed of mixed greens with tomato and avocado. Recipe makes 4 servings at 1 burger each.

Makes 4 patties

Burgers

1 lb / 453 gr ground turkey
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
½ teaspoon fine grain salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Sauce

1 container (6oz / 170gr) plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
½ teaspoon fine grain salt

Cooking Instructions

In a large bowl combine turkey, feta cheese, mint, milk, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Using your hands mix until thoroughly combined. Divide meat mixture into 4 parts and shape into patties.
Heat a grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the burgers until cooked through and the inside of the burger is no longer pink.
To make the yogurt sauce combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Take a taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve burgers with a dollop of sauce on the side.
