image-2Remember a couple of months ago when I sent you some before-and-after pictures via Facebook?  You said you’d like to use those for the Kuri website if I was willing and I said I’d be delighted, but allow me to knock off a few more.  I’ve lost about ten more (averaging about a pound a week).  I’m ready to make good on my word if you’d still like to.  If not, then I’d just like to share.  :-)

When I was in the Army, I weighed 147lbs and wore a size 4/6 jeans at one point.  I know…I must have lead in my veins because it doesn’t seem right.  I’ve always weighed more than I looked, but I don’t care so much about the numbers on the scale as where I feel comfortable.  I believe that is somewhere around a jeans size 6 or 8, given my roughly 5’5″ stature and broad shoulders for a female.

You’ve seen some of these already along my journey, but I added one taken a couple of hours ago.  83.2 pounds gone! * Results may vary.

In the last picture on the left, my belly rested on the motorcycle gas tank.  In the one on the right, I can look down and see the motorcycle seat between my tummy and the gas tank.  That is a huge difference!  I plan to lose about 25 more pounds to a goal weight of about 160lbs.  :-) it hasn’t been a rapid journey, but it has been steady and well worth it! Slow and steady wins the race, in my case!
